Tom L. Stringfellow

Oversees all mutual fund and institutional portfolio management activities, research, and trading for the Adviser.

Tom Stringfellow is the President, Managing Director, Chief Investment Officer and Senior Fund Manager with Frost Investment Advisors, LLC. He joined Frost in 1980 and has 39 years of experience in the financial industry.

Tom has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, the Certified Public Accountant certification, the Chartered Investment Counselor designation and the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Texas State University, a Master of Arts in economics from St. Mary’s University and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.

In addition to his work at Frost, Tom currently serves on the disciplinary review committee for the CFA Institute. Previously, he has served on the financial accounting policies committee, investment committee and national council for the AICPA. He has also served as president of the CFA San Antonio Society and president of the San Antonio Business and Economics Society, a local chapter of the National Association for Business Economics.

Tom enjoys keeping Frost’s clients up-to-date on market and economic trends through various media outlets and publications, including Bloomberg News and Radio, Wall Street Journal, CNBC and the weekly published Frost Market News & Views commentary.
